SRINAGAR: Northern Army Commander Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma on Thursday visited operational logistics units in Jammu and Kashmir to review ongoing transformation efforts aimed at enhancing operational readiness.
According to Northern Command headquarters, the Army Commander assessed automation and modernisation initiatives underway to support multi-domain operations. “Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, Army Commander Northern Command, visited an operational logistics unit, reviewing the operational and logistics transformation being undertaken with the vision of boosting operational readiness,” a statement posted on X said.
He commended the personnel for maintaining a high level of logistic preparedness and their ability to support sustained military operations. The General also highlighted the significance of tech-enabled logistics in meeting the requirements of modern warfare.
