Nils Ragnar Kamsvag, the ambassador of Norway, visited Delhi Public School, Srinagar on Monday.

The ambassador along with his delegates was received by the Principal Kusam Warikoo along with a group of teachers.

The ambassador took a round around the school and visited the library, computer lab, tiny tots wing and the Special Education Needs (SEN) department of the school where they appreciated the efforts put in by the school for the special needs children. This was followed by an interaction in the office of the Chairman between the ambassador and some students and teachers of the school.

The Chairman and the Principal shared their views about various aspects of student endeavours.

The envoy addressed the senior students in the auditorium where he was cordially welcomed and introduced as “an envoy of Norway, the happiest country in the world.” He was then briefed about the inter-cultural exchange programmes conducted by the school.
