Scores of students at University of Kashmir Monday took out a protest rally inside the Hazratbal campus denouncing attacks on Kashmiri students in mainland India.
Reports reaching here said that raising pro-freedom slogans, students marched through campus and demanded safety of Kashmiri students.
“The Kashmiri students studying in outside J&K colleges should be given safety,” the students demanded.
“The Indian state is playing politics; when outstation students in NIT Srinagar played drama of harassment, Delhi media ran it 24*7 on their TVs and when our students are being beaten outside J&K, there is no news,” the students said.
