SRINAGAR: The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Friday announced the results of the re-examination of UGC-NET June 2026 papers in English, Commerce and Sociology.
The agency had scheduled fresh examinations for the three subjects last month following complaints about errors in the respective question papers.
In a post on X, the NTA said candidates could access and download their scorecards through the examination’s official website.
The English examination was re-conducted on 9 September from 9 am to noon, while the Commerce paper was held the same day from 3 pm to 6 pm. The Sociology paper was conducted on 10 September from 9 am to noon.
The UGC-NET June 2026 examination was originally conducted from 22 to 30 June across 87 subjects. The examination determines eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), appointment as assistant professor and admission to PhD programmes.
