SRINAGAR: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has expressed deep sorrow over the killing of ex-serviceman Manzoor Ahmad Wagay in South Kashmir’s Kulgam.
Omar Abdullah wrote on his social media handle, “I am deeply saddened by the tragic killing of ex-serviceman Manzoor Ahmad Wagay Sahab in Kulgam. My heartfelt condolences to his family and prayers for the swift recovery of his injured wife and daughter.”

” Such heinous violence has no place in our society and must be condemned in the strongest terms. May peace and justice prevail,” he said.
Wagay, along with his wife and daughter, was attacked by militants in the Behibagh area of Kulgam on Saturday afternoon.
Officials said all three were taken to the hospital with injuries, where Wagay succumbed to his wounds. His wife and daughter are reported to be in stable condition.
