National Conference Working President Omar Abdullah on Thursday expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of young journalist Arshad Malik. The NC Working President said he stands in solidarity with Arshad’s family in this hour of mourning and unimaginable grief.
“My heart goes out to young Arshad’s family and I stand in solidarity with them. He was a talented writer and a noted journalist who had made his mark at a very young stage in his career. He will be remembered by his colleagues and readers for a long time to come”, Omar Abdullah added.
National Conference Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani, State Spokesperson Junaid Mattu and NC Leader Tanvir Sadiq have also expressed grief and shock over Malik’s demise and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
