Chief Minister Omar Abdullah cast his vote at Sunday morning in Burn Hall School in Srinagar however, his father and National Conference president missed as he is undergoing treatment in London.
Talking to reporters Omar said that he was hopeful of his party’s victory. “The results would throw a surprise.”
Omar added that his party may lose some seats but “we are going to win those seats which we have had no representation in the past twenty years.”
