Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah Friday morning met Union Home Minister, Rajnath Singh and discussed with him various matters relating to the peace and development in the state, official sources said.

During the meeting matters relating to the prevailing security scenario also came up for discussion. The two leaders took stock of the preparedness of the state for the conduct of Amarnath Yatra beginning from June 28, 2014.

“Aspects regarding rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits were also discussed in the meeting as also the steps underway in this regard,” they said.
