Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Saturday morning visited bereaved families in Kandiwara, Kokernag area who have lost their children in a tragic road accident the other day.
According to official statement, Omar Abdullah conveyed his heartfelt grief and prayed for peace to the departed souls and early recovery of injured.
The Chief Minister has already announced ex-gratia relief of Rs. one lakh each to the victims’ families and Rs. 10,000 each to the injured. He has also directed for befitting treatment to the injured.
Omar on the spot directed District Development Commissioner, Islamabad for early preparation of DPR for construction of bridge on Kandiwara-Sagam road and its upgradation. He also directed for strengthening the health infrastructure in Kandiwara area.
