Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah Sunday morning visited the under construction Shrine of Dastgeer Sahib (RA) at Khanyar here and received first hand appraisal of the status of progress on work.
Interacting with the officers of constructing agency the Chief Minister stressed on ensuring the restoration of Shrine in its old glory. He said that all aspects of the heritage characteristic of the Shrine should be kept in view while completing the restoration work in a time bound manner.
The Chief Minister also paid obeisance there and prayed for peace and development of the State. He interacted with people and heard them patiently.
Minister for Rural Development, Ali Mohammad Sagar was accompanying the Chief Minister.
