SRINAGAR: A BSF personnel died after he fell unconscious in the Pantha Chowk area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Sunday.
An official said that BSF Jawan Biplab Singh, a resident of West Bengal, suddenly fell unconscious at Pantha Chowk.
He was shifted to Ujala Hospital Srinagar for treatment, where doctors declared him brought dead, he said.
After the completion of medico-legal formalities, the dead body was handed over to the concerned unit for further disposal, he said.
Meanwhile, investigation has been taken up, he added. (JKNS)
