National Conference’s working president and ex-chief minister, Omar Abdulla Saturday trained guns at the incumbent chief minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed holding him responsible for “intolerance” incidents in the state.

Omar accused Mufti for allaying with BJP despite his offer of support to form government in Jammu and Kashmir.

He was speaking while paying homage to his grandfather, late Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah on his 110th birth anniversary at Naseem Bagh, Hazratbal.

“Mufti is responsible for all incidents of intolerance happening in the state,” he said. “We offered him support to keep BJP out but he allied with them (BJP) despite it.”

While responding to reports stating that state government has no knowledge who the “Sher-e-Kashmir is”, Omar said, “Unfortunate that government said having no record of having conferred title Sher-e-Kashmir to Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah. It is an acknowledged fact that he (late Sheikh) was the tallest leader of Kashmir.”
