Hurriyat Conference led by Syed Ali Geelani is organizing a seminar on June 11 in memory of 128 youth killed in 2010, a party statement said.
“The family members of the killed youth of 2010 have been invited besides people from every walk of life including intellectual, writers, politicians and lawyers, have been invited to participate in this seminar, who will try to highlight the different aspects of the target killings of 2010,” the statement said.
The Seminar, Hurriyat statement said is titled as, “2010 kay Aad Khilay Phool … Jo Masal Diyah Gaye”. “The seminar will start at 10:30 a.m. and will last till 4:00 p.m. at the Hurriyat (G) headquarters at Hyderpora,” the statement further said, adding that all those possibilities and ways will be explored in the seminar which will help in ‘highlighting the need for an impartial investigation into these killings and which will help us in bringing this bloodshed into the notice of world community’.
“Hurriyat Conference will try to create a national consensus about this grave issue and will thwart every such attempt which will try to neglect the precious sacrifices of Kashmiri nation,” it concluded.
