Srinagar: Residents of Pinjoora in Shopian district Saturday alleged that police raided a number of houses during night resulting in harassment to the inmates, report said.
They said police along with army personnel conducted nocturnal raids on around six houses in Pinjoora village.
One youth was arrested however others managed to escape, they said.
The arrested person has been identified as Molvi Mudassir Ahmad S/O Abdul Rasheed Dar.
The raids were conducted five days after clashes between government forces and protesters in the area.
