In a tragic accident on Srinagar Jammu highway, one person was dead and five others sustained injuries after a private car and passenger vehicle collided with each other in Banihal area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Ramban district on Monday.
Reports said a private car and a passenger vehicle suffered a collision near Gund Tethar Banihal, resulting into death of one person identified as Muhammad Abdullah, a resident of Kishtwar and injuries to several others.
Soon after the accident, all the passengers who sustained injuries were taken to the hospital for the treatment.
Earlier, a ITBP (Indo Tibetan Border Police) trooper was killed and 34 others were injured when a bus they were traveling in met with an accident near Khoni nalllah on Srinagar-Jammu highway on Monday.
