SRINAGAR: One person was killed and another injured in a road accident in Ramban village of the Jammu region on Monday, officials said.
Quoting an official, Kashmir Scroll reported that in aroad mishap that took place in Harwari, two people were injured. However, both were taken to a nearby hospital, where one was declared dead on arrival while the other was referred to District Hospital Ramban for advanced treatment.
Block Medical Officer (BMO) Dr Iqbal Malik identified the deceased as Syed Anwar, son of Mohd Anwar Katoch (18) of Sujmatha Halwagen. The officer identified the injured as Bahar Ahmad, son of Ghulam Rasool Dang (driver) (30) of Tajnihal. He said the injured person is undergoing treatment and is out of danger.
