One person was killed and another injured late last night in a road accident in Kangan area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
Reports said that a car (registration number PB02AL 5194) heading towards Naranag veered off the road near Pahilnar and rolled down into a deep gorge around 9 pm last night.
The deceased was identified as Alam Rasool Khan (59) of Belu Wussan Kangan, and injured was identified as Mushtaq Ahmed Shah (45) of Fraw Kangan.
The injured was shifted to Sub-district hospital Kangan where from doctors referred him to SKIMS Soura.
