SRINAGAR: A civilian was injured after suspected militants hurled a grenade at Gobalpora Chadoora in central Kashmir’s Budgam district, sources said.
Quoting officials news agency KDC reported that one Karan Kumar (20) son of Anil Kumar, resident of Gopalpora area of Chadoora, was injured in the attack.
Kumar with multiple splinter injuries was immediately shifted to SMHS hospital in Srinagar for treatment. His condition is stated to be ‘stable’ and is under treatment, they added.
A police officer confirmed the incident and said searches have been launched to nab the attackers.
