One person was killed and five others were injured after a slab of a residential house collapsed in Langate area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Thursday afternoon.
An eyewitness said that a slab of a residenial house belonging to Ghulam Mohammad Mir, Mohammad Subhan Mir, a resident of main market Langate, collapsded today after noon, resulting in the dead of a one person identifed as Shams-u-din Mir, a resident of Tulwari, and injuires to five others.
The five injured perosn were later rescued, who were under the debris of a slab, and then shifted to Sub-District Hospital, Langate in Handwara, from where they were reffered to district hospital. According to lacals more people are expectd to be under the debris, as police team is on the job to rescue the more people stuck under the debris.
