SRINAGAR: In the encounter that started Thursday night in Lalpora Pampore, at least one militant is reported killed. The encounter has not been declared over yet.
While enforcing the cordon around the suspected cluster of houses on Thursday at least two civilians were injured. With a head injury, one of them is stated to be critical in SHS Srinagar. The counterinsurgent forces set up floodlighting around th spot to prevent the escape of the holed up militants,

Reports said the intermittent firing is ging on. The exact status of the encounter is not known.
