One person died while seven others sustained injuries in a major accident that took place Monday morning near Sangri Top at Watlan area of North Kashmir’s Sopore.
Locals said a Tata Sumo bearing number JK05E 1920 rammed into a bike JK05E 2495 at Sangri Top on Sopore-Bandipora Road, leaving one person dead on spot besides wounding seven others.
The deceased has been identified as Abdul Hamid Bhat (35), son of Abdul Rashid from Ashtangoo, Bandipora.
