One person was killed while six others were critically injured in Doda district of Chenab Valley.
According to the reports a load carrier vehicle was on its way to Gundna from Doda when the vehicle reached near Bidwan it rolled down about 200 feet to a deep nallah from the road side.
It is said that vehicle was totally damaged. One person Sawal Singh, owner of the vehicle, died on the spot whereas other six persons were critically injured.
All the injured persons have been shifted to district hospital Doda for treatment. Due to the deteriorating condition of the two injured, they were later shifted to government medical college GMC Jammu for advance treatment.
The dead body of the deceased was taken to Doda hospital for post mortem.
MLC Khalid Najeeb Soharawardy, PDP leader Shahbul Haq Batt and youth wing President National Conference Syed Naveed Hashmi Dawar Peer condoled the death of a person died in the accident and expressed sympathies with the bereaved family.
Police have registered the case for further investigation.
