Srinagar
The traffic authorities on Tuesday said that the Jammu-Srinagar highway is open for one-way traffic movement.
“Traffic will only move from Jammu to Srinagar. All stranded vehicles on the highway were cleared on Monday,” an official said.
The official said that no traffic would be allowed from the opposite direction on the highway.
However, Leh-Srinagar highway, connecting Ladakh region with the valley, and historic Mughal road remained closed for traffic due to the accumulation of several feet of snow.
