Pitching for reopening of cinema’s in Kashmir valley Bollywood actor Salman Khan on Sunday said he would like to release his upcoming Bajrangi Bhaijan in Kashmir Valley besides other parts of India.

According to KNS, Salman while addressing media in Sonamarg said it is surprising that the theatres are not operational here and people have to watch Bollywood movies through pirated DVD’s.

He termed it unfortunate that the people here are not enjoying cinema on 70mm screen. Hailing the hospitality of the people of Kashmir he said he enjoyed his 40 days shoot in valley for his upcoming Movie Bajrangi Bhaijan with his scheduled to be released this Eid. Salman also thanked his fanes in Kashmir who prayed for him during his recent days of this rest.

While coining the term that the “one who hasn’t seen Kashmir has seen nothing”, Salman said, “he would appeal the people outside the state to visit the beautiful landscapes of valley and explore it as all weather tourist destination.”

Terming last year’s floods in Kashmir as unfortunate, Salman mentioned that his Being Human organization has supported and will continue its support to put valley back on gear. He said that he would possibly, in future, open Being Human store in Kashmir.

Flanked by Film’s director Kabir Khan Salman said, whenever I have to shoot in landscapes, Kashmir would be my first preference.”

The Bollywood superstar while claiming to have his roots from Jammu and Kashmir revealed that his maternal grandfather hailed from Jammu region of the state.

Kabir Khan while addressing press said he enjoyed to film in Kashmir and that he would like to focus on Kashmir in his upcoming movies as well. Kabir said there is lot more needy to be done so that Bollywood would make Kashmir its prime destination.

“Internet connectivity must get better besides the roads which are ruff at various places.”
