The students appearing for twelfth class examinations had to face questions which they claim were “out of syllabus” prescribed by JKBOSE. The students, mostly from a leading private school here, alleged that the questions asked in Monday’s paper were ‘alien’ to what they had been taught.

“The questions were out of syllabus. I could not do a single question,” a student, weeping, in Press Colony told reporters.

The students claimed that the faculty manning examination centers there could not solve a single question themselves.

“When we lodged protest with our math’s teacher, he literally saved his skin,” another protesting student said.

When contacted, spokesperson of the JKBOSE said that the BOSE authorities are ready to hear the matter once the students make a formal representation.

“We are for the students; if there is any problem, we shall solve that. Let students make a formal appeal to BOSE,” Showkat Ahmad, PRO JKBOSE told Kashmir Life.
