Daily wager employees of Municipal Council Mattan in the southern district of Islamabad held a protest demonstration outside MCA Mattan on Tuesday for non-payment of salary.
The daily wager employees assembled outside MC Mattan and protested by shouting anti-government slogans.
“We were just ten people officially registered as daily wagers working here in MC Mattan but now here are eighty people working at present, we don’t know who has got them inside and how,” said a protester.
A protester while speaking with Kashmir life said that they conveyed this problem to higher officials several times in past but there is no action being taken.
“We are living without wages since months, at least there should be someone who can look out for our problems,” said a protester.
