The Kashmir legislative assembly across the Line of Control (LoC) on Friday has adopted a resolution calling upon Union of European nations and Organization of Islamic countries to “persuade India to stop genocide of Kashmiris”.
Reports reaching here said that Pakistan-administered Kashmir Legislative Assembly during its winter session in Muzaffarabad “strongly condemned Indian state terrorism and human rights violations by Indian forces in Indian-administered Kashmir.”
It urged international community to take serious notice of these violations.
“The House adopted seven resolutions in which it called upon European Union, OIC and international human rights organizations to persuade India to stop genocide of Kashmiris,” Radio Pakistan reported. “The House also strongly condemned illegal detention and arrests of Hurriyat leaders and activists in the held territory.”
