2000px-Flag_of_Pakistan.svgPakistan will continue to support the Kashmiri nation on political, diplomatic and moral levels and until and unless Kashmiris will get their basic and birth rights, Pakistan will continue to raise this issue on international forums. These views were expressed by the Pakistan Commission office in New Delhi in a meeting with the representatives of the Hurriyat (g).

A Hurriyat (g) spokesperson and personal secretary to its chairperson Saturday held a detailed meeting with the Deputy High Commissioner Pakistan Abdullah Nizamani and other commission officials in which the Kashmir issue, role of Pakistan and the “unrealistic approach” of India towards this issue were thoroughly discussed, a statement issued here by the amalgam said.

The Hurriyat delegation on the occasion informed the diplomats about the ground situations of Kashmir and provided details of the “excesses and oppression of the Indian army and the police”, the statement added.

They also discussed the participation of lakhs of common people in the funeral prayers of the “martyred mujahideens” and raised the issue of disrespecting the dead bodies of the “martyrs” by the “police” and the army, it further added.

The Pakistan diplomats at the occasion assured on the behalf of their government that the Kashmir issue will be first agenda of every Indo-Pak dialogue process and this dispute will be resolved according to the wishes and aspirations of the Kashmiri people. (KNS)
