SRINAGAR: The Border Security Force (BSF) apprehended a Pakistani intruder along the International Border in the Kanachak sector of Jammu Kashmir on Thursday morning, officials said.
According to officials, personnel of the 44 BSF Battalion detained the man near Border Out Post (BOP) Sohan during the morning hours.
The apprehended person was subsequently taken into BSF custody, while senior officers reached the location and assessed the situation, officials said.
The man was being questioned to establish his identity, the circumstances and purpose of his entry, and other relevant details, they added.
