Lauding the role of Pakistan for supporting and standing for the people of Kashmir, United Jihad Council Chief Commander Syed Sallahuddin Tuesday said that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is active in “tuning the South Asian region into ring of fire”.

In a statement to CNS, UJC spokesperson, Syed Sadaqat Hussain quoting Syed Salahuddin said, “Kashmir policy of Pakistan is based on truth and precision and its decision to call off talks with India was a right and elegant step.” “The cancellation of NSA talks and not holding conference in Pakistan despite the persistence from India to call the so-called Speaker of Jammu and Kashmir was a welcome step and it is a diplomatic victory for Kashmir as well as Pakistan,” he said.

He said that India wanted to impose its conditions upon Pakistan and wants to give an impression that it is the super power in the region. “Pakistan foiled all the attempts of India and its role is commendable. We hope Pakistan will stand for us and continue to pursue pro-Kashmir policies in future as well.”

Salahuddin said, “India received a big blow from Pakistan it was out of sheer frustration that in Srinagar, Tehreek-e-Hurriyat activists, young, old and children were attacked and assaulted. “Modi is a war monger but he doesn’t know his madness for war could engulf whole South Asian region into fire,” he said. “Freedom movement in Kashmir will continue till it is not taken to its logical conclusion.”
