National Conference Working President and former chief minister Omar Abdullah has expressed profound grief over the death of a youth Farooq Ahmed of Bhagat Mohalla Palhalan in an incident of firing and demanded that a probe should investigate the circumstances leading to this tragic incident and the truth should be revealed without any delay.
Omar in a statement extended his deepest condolences to the family of Farooq Ahmed and prayed for the speedy recovery of those who have sustained injuries in this incident.
Meanwhile NC General Secretary Ali Mohammad Sagar, Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani and various senior leaders of the party have also expressed grief over this incident and demanded a time-bound and thorough probe.
