A wreath-laying ceremony was held at DPL Islamabad to pay homage to the slain Ct Tanveer Ahmad who was killed yesterday in a militant attack at Kaendzal are of Galander Pampora town of district Pulwama.
A spokesperson in a statement said: “Civil and Police Officers led by DIG SKR Amit Kunar laid floral wreaths on the mortal remains and paid rich tributes to the slain cop who made supreme sacrifice in the line of duty.”
“Among others, DC Islamabad Mohammad Younis, SSP Islamabad Altaf Ahmad Khan, CO IR 17, SP Hqrs and other officers and jawans of police presented floral wreaths on the body of the slain cop,” the spokesman said.
