A day after Class XII Psychology paper’ was allegedly leaked by police, in North Kashmir’s Baramulla town, Deputy Superintendent of Police Headquarters Sajad Ahmed Thursday summoned the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (BOSE) officials and recorded their statements.

According to reports, the Munshi of Police Station Baramulla Wednesday handed over unsealed Psychology paper bundle to the superintendent of center number 301 located in High School Noor-ul-Islam Baramulla which the Superintendent of the Examination Centre refused to collect and lodged a formal complaint with BOSE and Police officials.

Reports said that the paper bundle handed over to Superintendent, Iftikar Bashir by Munshi of the police station was not sealed and one paper was missing from the pack.

Taking strong cognizance of the matter, Senior Superintendent of Police Baramulla Zubair Ahmed Khan immediately placed the Munshi under suspension. The police registered a case vide FIR 366/2013 under section 379 of RPC in this regard and appointed DySp Headquarters Sajad Ahmed as the inquiry officer.

Confirming the suspension of the Munshi, SSP Baramulla told CNS that police has taken the matter seriously and inquiry is going on fast track basis
