SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Health Minister Sakina Itoo on Wednesday said para-medical posts in the Union Territory are likely to be advertised in December, providing eligible candidates an opportunity to seek employment in the health sector.
Itoo made the announcement while speaking at the inauguration of a new CT scan machine at SMGS Hospital, Shalamar, Jammu.
The new equipment is intended to strengthen the hospital’s diagnostic capacity and improve access to advanced imaging services for patients.
The Health Minister said the government was working to further improve healthcare infrastructure and strengthen manpower across Jammu and Kashmir. She said the proposed recruitment of para-medical staff would help meet staffing requirements at healthcare institutions and support patient services.
The newly installed CT scan facility is expected to improve diagnostic services at SMGS Hospital and ease difficulties faced by patients requiring advanced imaging.
Itoo also reiterated the administration’s focus on improving patient care, diagnostic infrastructure and healthcare delivery across the Union Territory.
