CRPF man, five civilians injured in suspected militants attack

A Paramilitary trooper and five civilians including a woman were injured on Thursday after suspected militants lobbed a grenade towards a mixed deployment of CRPF and Jammu and Kashmir Police at Kralyar area of the Islamabad district in south Kashmir. The location where the incident took place is near to the Police station Sheribagh.

Reports said that suspected militants hurled a grenade on the contingents of J&K police and CRPF party at Kralyar locality of the district, resulting in injuries to a CRPF man and five pedestrians including a woman. All the injured were taken to nearby hospital where the condition of the woman and two others are stated to be serious.

Meanwhile, forces have cordoned off the area and searches have been started to nab the assailants.
