SRINAGAR: The management, doctors and staff of PARAS Health Srinagar on Thursday expressed profound grief over the demise of veteran Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (NC) leader Sheikh Mustafa Kamal, extending condolences to his family and all those mourning his passing.
In a statement, Dr Murtuza Habib, Associate Vice President and Facility Director of PARAS Health Srinagar, conveyed condolences on behalf of the hospital and in his personal capacity.
He described Dr Kamal as a distinguished public figure and said it had been the hospital’s privilege to provide him with medical care during his illness.
“Dr Kamal fought his illness with remarkable courage and dignity. It was our privilege to care for him, and throughout his treatment every possible effort was made by our dedicated team, as we firmly believe that every life is precious and deserves the highest standards of care and compassion,” Dr Habib said.
He expressed solidarity with the bereaved family during their time of grief and said Dr Kamal’s life of public service would be remembered with gratitude and respect.
PARAS Health Srinagar said it joins the people of Jammu and Kashmir in mourning the loss of the veteran NC leader and prayed for eternal peace to his soul.
