SRINAGAR: People’s Democratic Party President and former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Mehbooba Mufti, stated that the parliamentary board will determine the candidates for parliament seats.
According to a statement, she presided over a significant meeting regarding preparations for the election for the Central Kashmir parliamentary seat.
Mehbooba Mufti said that the parliamentary board, led by Chairman Mohammad Sartaj Madni, will soon finalise the candidates.
The meeting as per the statement was attended by Party Senior Vice President Abdul Rehman Veeri, General Secretary Dr Mehboob Beg, Adv. Gh Nabi Lone Hanjura, Additional General Secretary Asia Naqash, as well as other senior leaders, former ministers, district presidents, constituency incharges, zonal presidents, and various party members, who shared their perspectives and insights.
