SRINAGAR: A passerby was injured in an accidental discharge of a firearm from the weapon of a security guard at Gandhi Nagar in Jammu on Wednesday morning, an official statement said.
“An accidental discharge of a firearm from the weapon of Surjeet Singh, who was manning Jagdambey Jewellers in Gandhi Nagar, a passerby was struck in the arm,” Officials said.
“The passerby has been hospitalised, and his overall condition is stable,” the official added.
A police official has also confirmed the incident and said that due investigations have been initiated. (GNS)
