SRINAGAR: Police on Friday morning recovered the snatched weapon of a bank security guard as well as the Maruti Alto cab used by unidentified gunmen to flee with cash after they robbed a J&K Bank branch in Sherabad Khore, Pattan area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday.

The pinched vehicle was discovered today at Wusan village in Kunzar area of Baramulla district, according to SSP Baramulla Rayees Mohmmad Bhat.

Meanwhile, SSP Baramulla mentioned that the search for the perpetrators has been stepped up in the suspected areas, and the investigation is still ongoing.
