After 44 days of strike, the patwaris deferred their agitation on Monday for three days.
Talking to a local news agency, KNS Patwari Association President said, “We have deferred our strike call for three days provided the state cabinet which is scheduled to meet tomorrow will approve our pay anomaly demand.”
Meanwhile, Minster for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation, Ajaz Ahmad Khan told KNS that government has accepted their demands and have sort-out the issue and they have called off their strike.
He said government has examined their all demands on priority and shortly their genuine problems will be addressed.
