To achieve its mission of Change in Jammu and Kashmir, People’s Conference has given mandate to clean, respectable and dynamic youth with good reputation.

In a statement PC Chairman Sajad Lone said, “To carry forward the struggle for Change its first step is to bring people with clean image in politics who can serve the people better. Our commitment is to bring reforms in the present system which has held hostage the overall development of the state.”

”The people in the state expect a change and reforms in the system and it is the time for them to judge from the nominations of the candidates by the parties and vote according to the merit.  The fate of the state for the next six years will be decided in the upcoming assembly elections and it is for the people to decide whether they will follow the traditional practice to vote for the family rule of Mufti’s and Abdullah’s or will they opt to bring in a real change by giving chance to new and dynamic faces who personify energy and enthusiasm to work for the development of the state,” he said

Lone hoped that coming election will prove a watershed in the history of Kashmir as a new breed of politicians, whose mission will be to sever people, will emerge. “This is the best chance for Kashmiris to throw out the dead wood from politics and bring clean people to the fore,” he added.
