State Congress chief G A Mir while strongly condemning militant strike in Samba on Saturday morning castigated the BJP-PDP coalition government for its ‘failure’ to contain growing subversive activities by the anti social elements in the state.
In a statement to KNS he expressed serious concern over spate of fidayeen attacks since the present dispensation took over. “Repeated militant strikes one after other in various parts of the state since last few weeks speaks volumes about the failure of the present government to secure life and property of the people. Due to the prevailing situation of uncertainty on the security front not only people of the state but whole country are feeling disgusted,” he said.
Mir while paying tributes to the slain security and police personnel in these attacks prayed for eternal peace to their souls. He asked the state administration to provide free medicare facilities to the injured persons.
