SRINAGAR: A Power Development Department (PDD) worker, who was critically injured after receiving an electric shock in Srinagar’s Nowshera area, has succumbed to his injuries, officials said on Monday.
An official said that the worker, identified as Bashir Ahmad Sofi (38), a resident of Ganderbal, was electrocuted while on duty in Nowshera on January 26.
He was admitted to a hospital for treatment but succumbed to his injuries after nine days.(KNO)
