Opposition Peoples Democratic party (PDP) on Wednesday announced to boycott the entire session of the state legislature in protest against the union home minister Sushil Kumar Shinde’s statement who ruled out the return of Afzal Guru’s body and the ruling coalition who did not accept the demand of opposition to bring a resolution to demand for the mortal remains of Afzal Guru.

It was announced by the PDP president, Mehbboba Mufti just after the resumption of the assembly here. “Sense of the house was conveyed to the government of India but the home minister was most arrogant and he insulted the house so there is no reason to attend this session now onwards,” Mehooba said adding “people of Kashmir have been pushed to the wall, National Conference has brought people on knees, this government is totally insensitive, it has no conscience”.

Earlier the house of state legislative assembly witnessed unruly scenes with PDP asking the government to bring and pass a resolution seeking return of Afzal Guru’s body. Scuffle between PDP and Sharief Niaz, one of the Congress MLA’s followed by a verbal dual between PDP and National Conference ministers, Mohammad Akbar Lone and Nazir Gurezi.
