Contesting the claims of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah that the video of Sakina Itoo was obsolete- opposition Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) Monday demanded a thorough probe into the matter.

Chief Minster Omar Abdullah Monday took to social networking site, twitter, writing, “I know the PDP is in complete panic mode but using old videos & trying to mislead the EC about code violations is desperate beyond words.”

“Let Election Commission or any other independent agency conduct an inquiry into the matter so that truth could come to fore- as far as the statement of Omar Abdullah is concerned- we demand a thorough probe into the video that shows NC’s lady minister compelling an old man to support her,” chief spokesman PDP Naeem Akhtar told KNS over phone.

Stating that there it  is nothing new for NC that has emerged on the social networking site, Akhtar accused that the party has always tried to befool people for the last several decades. “As a famous leader has said about NC’s founder long back that he is trying to befool people by singing Quran – for them any means is fear for grabbing power.”

There time is over, said Akhtar, adding that this is a new low in their political conduct- where a lady minister tried to ‘coerce’ an old man by virtual ‘subjugation’.
