Leader of the opposition and national conference working president, Omar Abdullah Saturday lashed at PDP-BJP government and said that the policy they (government) are exercising on ground is not the Agenda-of-Alliance but Doval doctrine.

Referring to the speeches made by incumbent National Security Adviser Ajit Doval in Hyderabad on how to handle situation in Kashmir, Omar said, “Had you handled the situation according to the agenda of alliance, the situation would have been entirely different, but you are working on Doval doctrine,” Omar said.

Omar said that the government was implementing in letter and spirit what Doval suggests.

Stating that he will not raise questions on the alliance, Omar asked the government, “You have completed one third of your term and show us a single achievement.”

“You have nothing to show,” he said, “Tell us one thing for which people would appreciate you.”

While taking a dig at Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti he raised questions asking, “Why have SIT’s suited you now when you have opposed the same earlier.”

Stating that SITs have not reached any conclusion in Handwara case, Omar questioned, “Will people trust you now?”

“If you have so much trust in your inquiries, why was this trust lacking in my government when you opposed death of Haji Yousuf being investigated by SIT,” he asked, the chief minister.

“When you were against the police that time then how can we trust you now, when around 100 people have been killed,” Omar said.

Terming the promises of rehabilitating and compensating flood victims as shallow, he said, “Mufti Sahab said this alliance is to get funds from centre for the flood affected but they are yet to receive the same.”

Alleging that CM wanted to portray herself as soft separatist and pro-militant, he said the plan has badly been exposed and the militants killed in 2016, are highest in the recent years.

Omar said that there has also been a surge in killing of forces this year. He asked BJP to answer “why they are keeping mum unlike their past approach.”

“Country is not protected by huge statements, he said, “the slogan of jai jawan, jai kissan have been exposed.”

Asking the government to shun “double standards”, Omar said on one hand CM is talking of amnesty to local militants and on other side Burhan Wani’s Killers are awarded gallantry awards.

“You awarded killers of Burhan, why were they awarded if he was ordinary militant as you have said, “Both statements don’t work.”

While levelling serious allegations against the Chief Minister he said that her relatives are running transfer industry in southern part of Kashmir.

“Sajad and Sartaj are making every transfer in southern parts of Kashmir,” referring to uncle and cousin of Chief Minister.

He also stated that BDO, as per an MLA was transferred 12 times in 18 months in Sopore.

“There have been 2100 premature transfers in two years that states two to three premature transfers are being done per day, he said.

He stated that even the top officials are not feeling safe about their positions.
