As these mobile voters started casting their votes, the local Lamberdar raised finger on them alleging that they are non-locals, sources said.
Soon heated arguments followed between the activists of NC and PDP which resulted in the clashes and exchange of blows.
Later a local National Conference leader also appeared at the scene accompanied by number of supporters that added fuel to the brawl, reports said.
However, police official refused to detail on the incident saying we are gathering information.
Re-poll was ordered in 38 polling stations of Chadoora, Chrarai Sharief, Khansahib and Beerwah tehsils of Budgam district where violence had disrupted the process on Sunday and at least eight people were killed in the clashes.
