More 73 votes have been polled in last one hour as 1.36 percent voter turnout has been recorded till 12 noon in re-polling for Budgam district in Srinagar parliamentary constituency on Thursday.

Police officials said that till 12 noon, 479 votes were cast at 38 polling stations out 35169 votes.

The Voting began at 7 a.m. and will end at 4 p.m.

Officials said that the votes have been cast in Chadoora 241, Beerwah 230, Budgam 03, Chrarai sharef 05. While as no vote has been polled in Khansahab.

Authorities have imposed section-144 except poll-bound areas of the district.

At least three hundred forces personnel are guarding each polling station.

Meanwhile, stone pelting incident was reported from Soibug area of Budgam .

Reports said that youth pelt stones on the forces stationed guard at the polling station.
