J&K PDP Youth President Waheed ur Rehman Parra on Monday condemned the remarks used by Choudhary Lal Singh’s brother Choudhary Rajinder Singh against chief minister Mehbooba Mufti.

This is totally unacceptable and it depicts the mindset which led to the gruesome gang rape and murder of our eight-year-old Bakerwal sister in Kathua. And it is extremely outrageous that all this language is used against a respected woman politician and first woman Chief Minister of our state in the name of a so-called Swabhiman of a community in our state, Parra in a statement said.

This should open the eyes of the people, How can anybody who uses such language talk about self-respect and dignity of anybody,” said Parra. “These people are not supporting the rape and murder accused without a reason. They support such a heinous crime committed against an eight-year-old daughter of this state because they are blinded by hate and it is their mindset.

They don’t respect any woman. If they can use such filthy language against the honourable CM, there isn’t a need for any further proof of their anti-woman mindset”. Para reiterated that his party and the coalition government will do everything to bring the perpetrators of the heinous rape and murder of an eight-year-old Bakerwal girl in Kathua to justice. “No intimidation. No abuses. No filthy language against our women would shift the focus from our pursuit of justice for our Bakerwal sister who was brutally raped and murdered”.

It is pertinent to mention here that Lal Singh and another Bharatiya Janata Party leader, Chander Prakash Ganga, resigned from the cabinet following their participation in a rally organised by the Hindu Ekta Manch in January in support of those accused in the rape and murder of a young girl in Kathua.

A video of Choudhary Rajinder Singh hurling incentives against Mehbooba has gone viral on social networking websites.

The Jammu and Kashmir Police lodged an FIR against Choudhary Rajinder Singh, brother of former Minister and BJP leader Choudhary Lal Singh, for using abusive language against Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti.

Director General of Police S P Vaid said, “We have lodged an FIR against Choudhary Rajinder Singh under relevant sections of law and further action will follow.”

Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir state commission for women has taken serious notice of abusive language used by Chaudhary Jitendra Singh, brother of Chaudhary Lal Singh, in a video which has become viral on social media.

The spokesman said that Jitendra Singh is seen in the video using vulgar and shameful language against the honourable chief minister, Mehbooba Mufti, during his protest in Favour of rape accused in Kathua.

Police have already filed FIR against Chaudhary Jitendra Singh. State commission strongly condemns his behaviour and has taken notice against him. He will be soon summoned to the commission to explain his abusive and shameful behaviour. His support in favour of alleged rapists of minor nomad girl explains his level of morality and every woman of J&K has taken his abusive language as an insult to half population of the state.
