SRINAGAR

Independent lawmaker Engineer Rasheed has reiterated that he will not allow chief minister and his colleagues to enter the secretariat premises on the eve of opening of civil secretariat in summer capital Srinagar, against the failure of Chief Minister to act fast against those accused and involved in notorious drug scam.

“Everybody was expecting that what Omer Abdullah minimum could have done would have been that he would have thrown Sham Lal Sharma out of his cabinet and the officers involved in the scam should have been put behind the bars but he seems to have turned completely deaf, dumb and blind towards the issue and is giving cover to the miss deeds done by his ministers who are running the state as if it is their ancestor’s kingdom” Engineer Rasheed said in a statement. He has also warned state administration of stern consequences if it would stop the peaceful march towards civil secretariat on May 6.

Er Rashid has reiterated his full support to Medical Employees Joint Action Forum and has appreciated them for taking genuine initiatives and offered his full support to the strike call given by various organizations against the drug scam.
